Ponta Grande Resort - Villa Maré

Horrible! Positive: I only liked the pool Negative: There were ants everywhere! Mattress was so uncomfortable and u only get 1 floppy pillow. i've been abroad 5 times this year and this has to be the worst hotel/villa i've stayed at in terms of comfort. The toilets had NO locks so anyone staying in the villa could walk in on u butt naked. 8 of us were sharing 2 toilets and on our 2nd day the water shut off for 5 HOURS! and they didn't even offer us any bottled water, we had to pay bottles of water OUT OF POCKET! According to other reviews, this isn't the first time that their water system went down 🫠 we couldnt brush our teeth or shower or have a proper breakfast hence why we could'nt even go out and do the activities we wanted to do! All they did was send a lowsey email with an apology which isnt helpful especially when youve spent do much money as it is. They said they'd inform everyone when the water goes back on which they didnt even do. We had to email ourselves for constant updates on the water situation. I wouldnt risk booking this place because im sure the water will go off again and completely ruin your stay.

Positive: El resort una maravilla, las instalaciones muy limpias, nada de ruidos, el poder tener el coche en tu misma puerta también una tranquilidad. Nosotros íbamos con niños de 9 y 14 años, y la verdad que se movían por allí sin ningún tipo de problema. El personal muy amable también. La villa una maravilla, super espaciosa, limpia y cómoda. La terraza una pasada. Las playas están próximas, puedes ir incluso a pie. Todo perfecto Negative: Si tuviera que poner un pero sería que las ventanas no tenían mosquiteras. El primer día si vimos más mosquitos, y la verdad que estaría bien que las hubiera. Por lo demás todo perfecto
